Med-Serv Patient Registration Kiosk. Along with sister company Fujitsu Computer Products of America,


Richardson, TX, January 12, 2009 —  Fujitsu Transaction Solutions Inc. unveiled a host of new Univations for retailers in the form of U-Serv® self-service hardware and partner software at the National Retail Federation (NRF) 98th Annual Convention and Expo, Jan. 12-13 in New York City.
The U-Serv 50 entry-level stainless steel dish drying rack kiosk solution, which can be configured for countertop use or free standing on a pedestal. The U-Serv 50 will be displayed as part of the DeliVision System stainless steel dish drying rack self-ordering kiosk, in conjunction with partner Modiv Media. Roche Bros, a New England-based grocer, recently began implementing this solution chain-wide.
The U-Serv 60 will feature theater ticketing, which allows movie patrons stainless steel dish drying rack to forego long lines at the box office by self-ticketing with the kiosk. Patrons can either go online and order a ticket for will call pick-up at the kiosk, or browse the available movies and purchase on site. Today, Regal Entertainment and AMC Entertainment, the number one and two movie chains in the world, use Fujitsu ticketing solutions.
The U-Serv 75 is Fujitsu s higher-end kiosk solution. In concert with software partner Escalate Retail, the U-Serv 75 will feature assisted guided selling application. Guided selling stainless steel dish drying rack allows consumers to help themselves by simple queries and unbiased suggestions and recommendations.
The U-Serv 150 exterior solution is ruggedized for outdoor stainless steel dish drying rack use. It features a 17 touch screen color display, card reader, omni-directional scanner and high-end PC. The U-Serv 150 has been redesigned to make it more affordable for more locations like stadium and concert venues. The U-Serv 150 is a Univations solution but will not be displayed at NRF.

The Med-Serv unit shows how a patient can register and be positively identified using Fujitsu palm vein biometric technology.
Fujitsu will also be demonstrating the power of multiple software applications on the same kiosk. A U-Serv 100 kiosk under the control of St. Clair Interactive Communication s multi-application software, will be demonstrate Treo Systems Wayfinder software and Modiv Media DeliVision.
